About Me
Hey, I’m Tanya. A business coach and BaZi consultant dedicated to helping you reconnect with your superpowers and find meaning in challenges.
What do you do when you ‘fall off the horse’? Do you find it difficult to pick up the pieces or are you eager to dust off and try again? Where do you turn to for that extra power push? Is there such a place? Who are you when the challenges knock on your door?
I used to ask myself that a lot when I faced challenges in my life and career. I was lucky enough to taste flavours of the corporate world, medium-size private companies and also state organisations with stiff, highly regulated systems.
They all taught me valuable lessons about myself and others. I came across brilliant bosses, colleagues, people in high-ranking positions, with high-level achievements, teachers, noble persons and some less favourable individuals and they all built in pieces of a person who I am today.
It was not always smooth sailing, and there were times when I doubted my capabilities and I totally forgot about my strengths. In fact, at certain moments, somehow, I even gave them up. It was like when you watch superhero movies, you wonder how they don’t realise they can move mountains, and all it takes for them is someone to remind them about their capabilities and illuminate their path.
My path was illuminated with BaZi. It seemed to be speaking to me in many different ways, about things that I need to become aware of, acknowledge and get more clarity on. I graduated from BaZi through a number of great Masterclasses at the Joey Yap Academy of Chinese Metaphysics, and today I enjoy seeing what coaching and Chinese metaphysics does for people.
I blended them together in my unique Luminary coaching method and I use them to help, support and encourage talented professionals to reconnect with their superpowers, because when they forget them, they lose their core and meaning. Their sparkle diminishes.
Why I do what I do
Because I love to see people succeed, I adore to see someone who is thriving and making great changes to the world around them, especially after the hardships. That kind of energy can make miracles and I believe that’s why we’re here. When I see my clients’ faces in ‘aha moments’, I become alive and it all makes sense.
But before getting to that point, sometimes we need to see very dark places. That part can be tricky and difficult, and I remember how important it was for me, at that particular moment, to come across a person who would give a coherent clarification to everything and help me become aware of the small steps I could take to get out of the emptiness. To empower me.
Someone I admire a great deal once told me I should become a candle myself, so that I can light more candles around me . And here I am, inspired by the wonderful uniqueness of each person I have had the pleasure of meeting so far, I cannot wait to meet your superpowers and see you excel!
